AEQUILUX is the world's first luminous glass system that enables the homogeneous illumination of almost completely transparent glass over the glass edge. AEQUILUX has specifically dealt with glass as a light guide: light is passed through glass almost unhindered. In order to create the impression of homogeneous lighting in glass, a complex structure is required on the glass surface where light is deliberately scattered and directed through the surface. This structural distribution was developed by means of complex calculations and high-tech laser processes.
