In the "isoCall+" coating, the low-E layer is divided into small segments by fine laser lines. These segments are much larger than the wavelength of infrared radiation and act like facets of a mirror. The Low-E-effect (heat insulation property) is thus largely retained. Also the transparency for visible light is hardly influenced. However, the facets can no longer effectively reflect the comparatively long radio waves. This increases the transmission of radio signals considerably. Depending on segmentation and window structure, improvements in radio transmission can be achieved by a factor of 100 to 1000,000.
-Good mobile radio and WLAN reception even in modern buildings with good insulation standards
-availability of GPS-based services within buildings
-reduction of electrosmog
